Employment Support Services
Opportunities @ work.
Our Vocational/Employment services provide support to both employers and to individuals with vision loss and other disabilities. The goal is to help our clients prepare for, retain or secure competitive jobs. Our Pittsburgh office serves Allegheny County and our Uniontown office serves Fayette, Greene and Washington counties.
Funded by the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation and Bureau of Blindness & Visual Services. Our job coaches are ACRE trained and overseen by OVR.
Employment Transition Services
This program supports the success for clients who have multiple, significant physical and/or cognitive disabilities. Customizing to one’s level of abilities, we help to nurture vocational and independent-living skills that give them a sense of accomplishment and pride. Employment Support & Job Coaching
We want to ensure the success of our clients as they embark on the possibilities of entering or re-entering the workforce. We work with employers and future employees alike to make the very most out of hiring practices for individuals who have a variety of disabilities. Services include community-based assessments, job coaching, work site analysis, and follow-up services. We are invested in ensuring a productive relationship between employee and employer so that these types of opportunities are seen as a win-win for all.
