Live life to the fullest.

Daily Living Skills Training

We offer Occupational Therapy in the home to help clients address specific needs for how they live and want to live with vision loss. Our team designs your program to help you do activities independently such as getting ready for bed, daily hygiene, cooking, reading mail, and more. When on site, we help to incorporate talking technology and employ all optical aids that help you get the most out of your living or job space.

Orientation & Mobility

Get to where you need to go safely and with the most confidence. Our O&M program empowers clients with low vision to navigate typical movements around the home or in the community with greater independence. Mental mapping and making use of other senses helps to create orientation, while mobility aids are available to assist around obstacles and guide movement. We assist with real-world practice through landmarks, route planning, and transportation that can be applied to your specific daily needs.

Support Groups

You’re not alone! VisAbility offers on-site support groups that are managed by someone with vision loss. These groups are a safe space to discover resources, experience training, share victories or challenges, and even feature guest speakers. The energy found through these new connections is empowering, and members encourage one another to live independently within a community where you feel supported and inspired.
